The theme for May is “You Are Not Alone”. It comes from one of the leaders of our North Team, Rob Longshore, and here is what he has to say about how God led him to this topic:

For April, we emphasized being “Better Together”, which is a wonderful theme. Although it is better to do many things with someone else or with a group, it is also obvious that we must do many things by ourselves, without another believer or group of believers. And though we do it by ourselves, we are never really alone. God is always with us. God is always providing the power. So I am suggesting the theme “You Are Not Alone” for May.

God’s word is clear that we are not alone.  For example:

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you … Isaiah 41:10

There is no reason to fear; you are not alone. Psalm 56:8

I can do all things in Him who strengthens me – Phil. 4:13

Without me you can do nothing – John 15:5

You will do greater things than I – John 14: 12

… I am sending the promise of my Father upon you – Luke 24:49
